Extended Promotion at Lake District Coast Aquarium
More Free Introductory Cards
Due to the huge success of our holiday promotion, we are extending the give away action. Every visitor to the Lake District Coast Aquarium at Maryport will be given one free Take 5 Card for each entry ticket holder. This promotion continues while our stocks of give away cards lasts.
And Prizes for Winners of Each Game
Take 5 Cards players will be welcome at the cafeteria for swap-meets and to play Take 5 Cards games each day from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Winners of games will obtain additional cards as prizes. No entry fee is required to attend the swap-meets and games in the cafeteria.

Take 5 Cards Marine Wildlife Tournament
Everyone who took part in the first Take 5 Cards Marine Wildlife games at the Lake District Coast Aquarium at Maryport on Saturday afternoon, 16 February, was a winner! After a successful launch week for the Take 5 British Marine Wildlife collectors' card edition, a round of competition games was held to find an overall champion.
It was a close call. Aaron Holt narrowly beat Paul Vaughan and Esther Moriatis to win the first prize of a superb copy of 'Great British Marine Animals' signed by its author, the renowned underwater photographer and marine biologist, Paul Naylor. Second and third prizes were a unique sea-life wall poster and another reference book.
Other contestants received more free marine wildlife cards and pages for their collectors' albums.
Aquarium Director's Opinion
Aquarium Director, Mark Vollers, said; 'These cards and quiz sheets have been a great way of getting youngsters motivated to find and identify fish. Some parents have commented how much more their kids are getting out of the time they spend in the display areas. We plan to continue with the free Marine Wildlife card promotion for at least the next few months, possibly even long term, not least of all because of their educational potential and good fit with our attraction.'

Lakes Aquarium
Promotion
Starting on Monday 11 February 2008, the Lakes Aquarium at Lakeside, Newby Bridge, will be giving away one free Take 5 Card with each entry ticket sold. This promotion will continue while our stocks of give-away cards last. We have one bulk order box of cards to give away.
We also have cards to sell in our gift shop. Starter decks of 55 cards, and booster packs of 5 cards each, will be on sale.
